The nature of our work means very often we are away from our desk, however our social workers are equipped with mobile phones and your call maybe transferred to them. If they are unable to answer your call, please leave a message they will endeavour to return your call at the earliest possible moment.

How can I be assured I am getting a fully registered social worker?

Our social workers are Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered. All professional social workers must have this registration and you can check the register at www.hcpc-uk.org using their individual registration number, which is always displayed on their identification badge.

The HCPC protects the public by regulating social workers.

What else do you do to protect vulnerable clients?

A copy of your social worker’s enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check certificate can be requested. Our social workers are registered with the ‘Update Service’ which allows organisations to carry out a quick online status check to see if the DBS Certificate is up to date. We can also provide your client with a picture of the visiting social worker and their CV, so they know who to expect.

Do you have insurance?

All our social workers are covered by both professional indemnity and public liability insurance. We are happy to provide copies of our insurance certificates should you wish to see them.

Do you have internal quality assurance procedures?

All reports are checked and approved by a qualified senior social worker before being sent out. This process is in place because we are passionate about what we do, and we only want you to receive professional, comprehensive reports that address the points raised by the instructing solicitor.

Are your social workers independently supervised?

Our social workers must have independent supervision. We ensure that our employed social workers have regular supervision and our independent social workers are required to provide proof of frequency of supervision. Supervision is extremely important to our social workers and the service we provide. Data Protection & Confidentiality We take client confidentiality and data protection very seriously.
